English 8

Today’s English Agenda
1.    EE (Everyday Editing)
2.    Reading MEAP packet
3.    SSR (check homework: "The Bugs Who Flew Too Much"- highlighting interesting details)
4.    Go over homework & turn in.
5.    QW- Read "Three Day Visit" and take notes in class on the author's "writing moves." Tomorrow we will continue taking notes on this narrative.

Everyday Editing: Combine the following sentences into one sentence. 

          I have hair the color of carrots in an apricot glaze.
My skin is fair and clear where it isn’t freckled.
My eyes are like summer storms.
