English 8

Today I checked writer's notebooks, then we took turns sharing the book we are currently reading, and we discussed the lyrics to "Where is the Love?" from yesterday. The lesson focus was on injustices in the world today and what we can do to promote change and fight against the injustices listed in the song. We started brainstorming and listing injustices that anger us. Next week we will select an injustice in the world today and write a persuasive argument.
