English 8

Everyday Editing: We answered grammar questions like students will see on the Explore and ACT tests. I'm still working on grading quizzes, and many students took the quiz today that were absent on Friday.

SSR

Lesson: Many students printed off a final draft today of the comparison essay. Students that couldn't finish in class need to finish the essay on their own by Friday. The students that don't have a computer at home, may choose to sign up and come to an after school work session in the computer lab on Thursday night. This will be from 3:00-4:00.

Wednesday: Students will be piloting an Explore Test online in the computer lab. McBain has been asked to try this test; the English test will take about 50 minutes to complete.
