Quick Write: Answer question number six from page 15 in the reader's notebook. (Choose something a character said that taught or showed something about another character from the novel you are reading.)

Lesson: We reviewed the elements of a literary essay, and the we went to the middle school computer lab and started typing the literary essay. Make sure you have a copy of the rubric, an example essay, and your theory/claim graphic organizer with you if you work on the essay at home.
